someone is demanding pictures... and because she yelled at me the pictures for her will have to be last. hmm! :D
on friday we went to a greek community here in florida...the community is also known for sponge diving... you know, getting the sponges out of the ocean for use of, well, spongy things. anyways, i didnt really take any pictures but i did talk derek into taking me to the beach... i am monitoring the temperate of the water... still too cold to get in.
i love the beach. alot.

but yeah, the alpaca socks have been finished for a while... the ends not woven in. it's too freaking hot here to be wearing alpaca socks. stupid FL.
and now for the socks i am working on now... the cable twists socks from hello yarn. i'd link it but derek is rushing me... it seems he is not able to go get gas in his car by himself.
i love these socks so much. the fit is perfect.

what a wonderful start to the ding dang day. it's cloudy and rainy and grey and just the type of day that you dont want to get out of bed. oh! and you are warm and snuggly too.
but no, your dang dog wont stop whining. whine, whine, whine. well he must have to pee... so you stumble out of your warm bed, into the livingroom for sandels and a jacket... but what do you feel first? cold dog poop squishing between your toes. oh yay. and while all this is happening and you are hobbling to the bathroom a towel... the dog is still whining. whine, whine, whine.
by this point you are starting to wake up more. and it sucks. no slipping outside really fast with the dog and back into bed. no because you have to pick up dog poop and clean the carpet.
yeah. pretty much awake now.
derek laughed his ass off at me. uh huh. i'll remember that, buddy. just you wait.
can't get anything past me... it only took me 10 minutes to find the damn compose button. i bet it took you longer than that, right?? lol.
anyways. vox. who comes up with these names?? vox. it's alot like box. but with a v and not a b. yeah.
i have no idea what to say.
it's now midnight:38 and i just got home from work a little bit ago. i work for a big company in television. you know them as food network and hgtv. it's fun. but it's not exciting. but it pays the bills. and that's what matters for now.
i am currently looking for a job in tampa, fl. i'm going to move there soon. it's exciting and i am not nervous at all. which is wierd, because usually i get nervous about everything. i have never been to florida but i bet it's a pretty nice place to live, other than those hurricanes and stuff. my boyfriend has already moved... eh, i miss him alot but it's ok... i will get to see him at thanksgiving. i am hoping to get a job at a tv station in tampa.... cross your fingers for me.
derek has been my boyfriend for 6 years. that is a long ass time. sometimes it feels like it should be longer but other times it's like i just met him. we have fun and that is what is important. he's a great guy... he picks on me alot but i know it's just because he likes me so much. i like him alot too tho. i never thought we would make it this long but i cant imagine being with anyone else.
we have a puppy. he is the cutest dog in the world. his name is general george s. patton. (derek has great interest in history and also his grandfather fought with patton in the war) we just call him patton tho. or baby dog. he doesn't really answer to baby dog tho. patton is part basset hound and part lab, just so you know. everyone always asks. he's always a hit at the dog park. everyone is always amazed at him ... at how big and yet how small he is all at once. patton was born on christmas eve and he will be five this year. our dog sleeps ALOT. right now, he's already went to bed... he's in there in the bedroom waiting on me.
